TV and Film Screenwriter.

I’m an LGBTQ+ woman living with a disability, a former engineer, and a kid from a small town in Michigan. From tutoring fluid mechanics to running onsite LGBTQ+ events to teaching kickboxing to designing Mr. Clean/Swiffer products to performing market research on Farmville (yes, that FarmVille)—I’ve lived many lives before screenwriting. It is this breadth of experiences, in combination with my frenetic, overactive imagination, that I draw upon when writing.

I love creating immersive worlds or embellishing reality to make it more interesting. However, at the core of what I write are emotionally grounded stories of strong female protagonists who learn to eschew other's expectations to embrace their true selves with the support of a found family.

I have received accolades in TV: I was a Circle Management and Production/Anarchists United 2024 Writers Discovery Fellow and a Fox Entertainment Writers Incubator Finalist for both Comedy and Animation in 2023. That script, REAPER, INC., was also CineStory's TV Original Comedy Winner.

...and Film: My sports teen comedy TRIVIAL PURSUITS was an Austin Film Festival Semi-Finalist and placed 3rd in CineStory’s Feature Fellowship. My family drama, GAMES IN THE SKY, was a Humanitas Carol Mendelsohn College Drama Semi-Finalist and a Nicholl's Quarterfinalist.
